The engineering work undertaken for All me has produced a set of architectural solutions that extend far beyond the requirements of a single application. During the development process, it became clear that the mechanisms required to deliver user independent identity, zero metadata transport, blind provider operation and trustless commercial execution form a generalisable architecture. This architecture is now defined as the Identity Constructed Communication Architecture, ICCA.

ICCA is not an abstract research exercise. It is the direct result of solving practical engineering problems inside All me. The need to eliminate identity exposure, remove provider visibility, contain contextual identity and ensure safe interaction at scale required new primitives that did not exist in current digital ecosystems. These primitives have matured into a coherent framework that can be applied to communication, commerce and social interaction systems beyond All me.

The Omega Foundation, as the intellectual property owner, and Karl A L Smith, as the moral IP owner of All me, have agreed that ICCA must be placed in the public domain. This decision is driven by the need to protect the integrity of the architecture and the All me ecosystem. As All me progresses, there is a foreseeable risk that external parties may attempt to assert prior art or claim ownership of concepts that were engineered within the All me development cycle. Preprinting ICCA on a public archive with a Digital Object Identifier provides a clear, immutable timestamp that establishes provenance.

The ICCA papers are therefore released as open architecture under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike International Licence. This ensures that the framework can be adopted, extended and implemented without restriction, while preserving the requirement that derivative work remains open. The intention is to prevent any future attempt to convert ICCA into private intellectual property or to obstruct its use through proprietary claims.

This approach aligns with the spirit of Aaron Swartz #AaronSw and the broader movement for open knowledge. By placing ICCA into the public domain with transparent attribution, the Omega Foundation ensures that the architecture remains available to researchers, developers and institutions seeking to build safer, privacy centric digital ecosystems.
